Terriun Crump Named CFPA Performer

MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois senior wide receiver Terriun Crump (Country Club Hills/Rich Central/College of DuPage) was named as an Honorable Mention Performance of the Week selection by the College Football Performance Awards (www.collegefootballperformance.com). Crump recorded his fourth career 100-yard receiving game last week in the loss at Sam Houston State.

Crump, who was named to the organization's preseason Watch List, recorded five catches totaling 127 yards. His 92-yard touchdown catch was not only a personal-best, it tied for the third-longest reception in Leatherneck history and 11th-best in the Missouri Valley Football Conference record book.

The senior enters this weekend 10th nationally with his 127 receiving yards per game. The 92-yard pass from quarterback Josh Hudson currently stands as the longest play from scrimmage in all of Division I from the season-opening games.
