HOME WIN STREAK AMONG NATION'S BEST: Western Illinois currently stands with the third-longst active home win streak at eight consecutive... Jacksonville, win #7 on Western's list, holds the national lead... South Alabama, a 2010 start-up FCS program in transition to the FBS, is next at nine but has also played a mix schedule of Division I, Division II and NAIA programs... The Leathernecks' next opportunity to add to the streak is October 22 against Missouri State.

TOUGH SCHEDULE IN 2011: Western Illinois may only stand 2-3 so far in 2011 but it is worth to take a look at the schedule played. The Fighting Leathernecks currently own the second-toughest schedule in the Missouri Valley Football Conference and 15th-toughest in the FCS... Of the three current undefeated teams in the FCS, Western have/will face two (Sam Houston State, North Dakota State and Georgia Southern)... Defensively, Western allows only 21 points per game at home, is +2 in turnovers, and held opponents 0-for-5 on fourth down conversions.

MORE CAREER LISTINGS FOR CRUMP: Terriun Crump's 163 yards on five catches against Southern Illinois moved him up further on the career 'Top 10' leaderboard... Crump is currently tied for second all-time with seven 100-yard receiving games (one shy of Reggie Gray's record). He jumped up to sixth with 1,688 receiving yards and stands eighth with 100 receptions... With four 100-yard receiving games this year so far, he already moved into a tie for third place, one off the record... Crump needs two more TD receptions to tie for 10th place on the career list.

BIG PLAY RECEPTION: The 77-yard catch-and-run touchdown against Southern Illinois is another big play reception example for Terriun Crump... The senior wide receiver has 100 career receptions during his three-year career, and now five have gone for 50-plus yards... This year he owns receptions of 92 (SHSU), 77 (SIU) and 53 (JU). Ronnie Fouch completed 12-of-24 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown but threw two interceptions... Shakir Bell rushed for 145 yards on 14 carries in the first half, but left in the second quarter with an injury... Down four, the Sycamores were driving into UNI territory in the fourth quarter but suffered a fumble and the score got no closer... ISU converted only 2-of-11 on third downs and was 1-of-3 on fourth downs... UNI forced three Sycamore turnovers... Cory Little opened the scoring with a 44-yard field goal, then Justin Hilton caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Fouch but the PAT failed... Hilton caught four passes for 77 yards...
