JUNIOR (2012): Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference... First Team Academic All-MVFC... Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District (on ballot for Academic All-America honors)... received Dr. Frank Sorenson award for academic achievement... started all 11 games at right tackle.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference... First Team Academic All-MVFC... Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District (on ballot for Academic All-America honors)... received Dr. Frank Sorenson award for academic achievement... played tackle, right guard and left guard this season... started in all 10 of his appearances... helped pave way for five 100-yard rushing games by the backfield this year. Received the Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award from the Missouri Valley Football Conference. 

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2010): Received the Academic Excellence Award from the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC)... played in all 13 games and started the final seven games at guard... received the Dr. Frank Sorenson Award for Academic Achievement (Highest Team GPA - 4.0)... helped the offense to a record-setting season, finishing third in total offense (457.2 yards), 11th in scoring offense (32.5), 13th in passing offense (266.5) and 23rd in rushing offense (190.7)... scored 40-plus points in five games.
FRESHMAN (2009): Redshirted... named Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year... received the Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named to four All-State teams... selected as Quincy Notre Dame's Most Valuable Player... named to the Quincy Herald-Whig, Champaign News Gazette and Chicago Tribune All-State teams in 2007 and 2008... Academic All-State... team went undefeated his senior year during the regular season and advanced to the state playoffs... played for coach Bill Connell.
