SENIOR (2012): First Team Academic All-Missouri Valley Football Conference
... played in seven games, started five... completed 45-of-101 passes for 465 yards and two TDs to four interceptions... made first start of the year at South Dakota and responded with a come-from-behind victory... threw both TD passes in the second half to spur the win... threw for season-high 204 yards
the following week at South Dakota State... received the Robert Blaha, Sr. Scholarship Award.

JUNIOR (2011):
Voted team captain... played in five games and made one start... missed the final three games of the season with a leg injury... earned the start in the season-opener at Sam Houston State... completed 4-of-11 passes for 43 yards and was sacked two times... went 1-of-2 passing for six yards against Jacksonville... in relief threw for 110 yards on 11-of-20 passing at Northern Iowa... led team on lone touchdown drive (12 plays/75 yards) in the fourth quarter... came on late in the Indiana State game, completing 2-of-4 passes for eight yards and had a 6-yard rush... 11-yard pass at Youngstown State and had two rushes before leaving with a season-ending broken leg injury. REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2009): Received the Academic Excellence Award from the MVFC... Played in nine games and started the final seven following the injury to Matt Barr... completed four-of-eight passes for 24 yards off the bench at Northern Illinois... seven-of-19 for 50 yards against Southern Illinois... threw for two touchdowns on nine-of-19 passing for 109 yards at Youngstown State... eight-of-13 passing for 105 yards against Missouri State... season-high three interceptions going 12-of-24 for 139 yards at Indiana State... recorded 113 passing yards on 11-of-19 passing, including a touchdown and interception, versus North Dakota State... completed 19-of-36 passes for 188 yards, a touchdown and two picks at Illinois State... matched season-high of three interceptions at Northern Iowa completed nine-of-20 passes for 60 yards... season-high 206 yards on 25-of-38 passing with no turnovers against South Dakota State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ended 2007 as the No. 2 passer in the country with 3,383 yards... became the all-time leading career passer in Illinois history (8,393 yards)... threw for 39 touchdowns, 229 completions and a 62 percent completion rate as a senior... recorded one game with 573 passing yards and one half with 402 yards... totaled 79 touchdowns, and a 61 percent completion rate over a three-year career... led the nation in back-to-back weeks in passing yardage... rated as the nation's No. 1 passer for five consecutive weeks on earned All-State honors from the Champaign News-Gazette and the Chicago Tribune... named Most Valuable Player of the State Journal Register All-Area Team... nominated for the All-State Shrine Game and the Army All-American Game... also earned First Team All-State honors as a junior... a three-year varsity starter in basketball... owns a 4.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale... member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society.
