MACOMB, Ill. - Western
Illinois Football announced the dates for three of its upcoming summer camps,
including two road venues.
The Fighting Leathernecks will offer a camp in the St. Louis area on Saturday,
June 19th. The following week (June 26) Western will travel to the Chicago
area, then offer a camp in Macomb the next day.
Cost for the one-day camp is $50 per person. Students entering grades 9-12 for
the 2010-11 school year are eligible to attend. Campers will have the
opportunity to participate in two sessions at each camp, 10 a.m.-12 noon then 2-4
p.m., and given the freedom to spend the sessions however they please. Campers
can choose to specialize in their own area of football, attending both sessions
as an offensive or defensive player, or attend both sessions.
Each camp covers all aspects of football: from a basic stance
to advanced seven-on-seven simulations. Every camper will receive instruction
solely from members of the Leathernecks coaching staff.
