SOPHOMORE (2012): Second Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference by College Sports Madness... played in all 11 games, started nine times... third on the team with 58 tackles, second-most interceptions totaling four (22 yards)... broke up two passes and recovered a fumble... made two solo tackles against Butler... earned his first career start against Indianapolis... responded with career-high seven tackles... came up with his first career interception at Iowa State... added two tackles against the Cyclones... five stops versus Illinois State... three stops at South Dakota... made an impressive one-handed interception in the endzone to stop a South Dakota State scoring drive... finished with five tackles and also a pass break-up... first career touchdown came on a fumble recovery in the endzone on a muffed punt in the Indiana State game... finished the game with two tackles... recorded an interception at Missouri State, finishing with six tackles... career-high 10 tackles against UNI, including seven solos... returned an interception 21 yards to set up a touchdown against Youngstown State, finishing with nine tackles... shared on a tackle for loss that game... seven tackles at Southern Illinois... received the team's Green Beret Award for his play on special teams.

Two-year letterwinner in football... earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area accolades following his senior season... during his senior year finished with 60 tackles, five interceptions, two forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles... also blocked a punt and a field goal attempt... ran a fumble back for a touchdown... during his junior year switched from his usual cornerback position and started a game at safety, turning in seven tackles and two fumble recoveries.
