MACOMB, Ill.  -  The “Leatherneck Baseball Alumni and Friends Weekend” will be a wonderful weekend of golf, baseball, food and beverage.  The hope is to have this become a yearly event.

The event will be held at Harry Mussatto Golf Course, which is located on 1215 Tower Road in Maocmb. 

The event will start on Saturday, Oct. 2 with the Golf Outing.  The four-man scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.  Participants should report at 10 a.m. for check-in.  Lunch, dinner and prizes will be provided. 

The cost is $100.00 per person, which includes a cart, golf, lunch, dinner at the course as well as food the following day when alumni can take the field against the current Leathernecks. 

The Alumni Baseball Game will start at noon on Oct. 3 and participants will be fitted for uniforms in Western Hall between 10 - 11 a.m. The Alumni team will be the home team and dressed in white for the nine inning game.

Participants are encouraged to contact teammates and friends to join them at the event.
