Arent Sinks Ace During Qualifying

MACOMB, Ill. - Sophomore Alexa Arent did what some golfers wait their whole lives to do on Friday.

During a qualfying round for the upcoming Western Illinois Invitational she sunk a hole-in-one on #17 at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course. Standing 120 yards away on the gold tees, Arent holding a 7-iron she battled windy conditions to accomplish the feat. It is her second hole-in-one of her career.

The Appleton, Wisconsin native carded an 81 for her qualifying round. Arent and Fighting Leathernecks will take the course on Sunday for the first time this season for the Western Illinois Invitational.
