3RD ANNUAL SHAYMUS RELAYS HIGHLIGHT VIDEO

MACOMB, Il. – The 3rd Annual Shaymus Relays were held at Hanson Field on the campus of Western Illinois University on Thursday, May 5. Despite the ominous skies, the rains held off and the sun broke through during the event, which was again a huge success.

The event, organized by the Fighting Leatherneck Track and Field team, was attended by Western Illinois student-athletes, staff and local community members to help raise money for Shaymus Guinn (son of Women's Soccer coach Tony Guinn) in his fight against Ewing's sarcoma.

Prior to the relays, members of the Leatherneck Club held a cookout for the Leatherneck student-athletes in a show of their support and appreciation.
