MACOMB, Ill. - ESPN Chicago writer and blogger Scott Powers ranked his 'Top 30' college basketball players in Illinois earlier this week, and Western Illinois senior guard Ceola Clark III (Gurnee/Warren Township) was listed 12th.
Clark, who was tabbed both First Team and Second Team All-Summit League in different polls last week, only played six games in 2010-11 after suffering a season-ending injury.
The 2009-10 Summit League 'Defensive Player of the Year' led the Leathernecks with 14.2 points, 87 assists and 72 steals as a sophomore.
Western Illinois begins regular-season play with back-to-back road games against Atlantic 10 Conference member Dayton (Nov. 12) and 2011 NCAA Tournament participant Michigan (Nov.17).
