MACOMB, Ill. - The annual Western Illinois 'Leatherneck Baseball Alumni and Friends Weekend' will be held October 6-7 in Macomb.
The event will start on Saturday, October 6
with a golf outing at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course, which is located
on 1215 Tower Road. The four-man scramble will begin with a shotgun
start at 11 a.m. Participants should report at 10 a.m. for check-in.
Lunch, dinner and prizes will be provided.
The cost is
$100
per person, which includes a cart, golf, lunch, and dinner at the course
as well as food the following day when alumni can take the field
against the current Leathernecks.
The Alumni Baseball Game will start at noon on October 7
and participants will be fitted for uniforms in Western Hall between
10-11 a.m. The Alumni team will be the home team and dressed in white
for the nine inning contest.
Participants are encouraged to contact teammates and friends to join them at the event.
