Long snapper Mike Famiglietti talked about the upcoming 2012 season, how he got started as a long snapper for special teams and his career aspirations following Wednesday's practice in the sixth installment of '2 Minute Drill'.


MVFC REPRESENTED IN PRESEASON TOP 25 POLL: The Missouri Valley Football Conference was well represented in the preseason Sports Network 'Top 25' poll. Defending national champion North Dakota State received 59 first-place votes, and came in second place in the poll. Northern Iowa starts the season in ninth, Youngstown State (also receiving one first-place vote) was 13th and Illinois State came in 19th. Indiana State also stands among the 'Top 25' in 23rd. Southern Illinois received 63 votes, South Dakota State had 10, new league member South Dakota had six, Missouri State and the Leathernecks got one vote apiece.
