Remo Crovetti, 1974 (Deceased) - As Western's most outstanding golf athlete, Remo still holds the record for lowest career stroke average at 72.8. He won the IIAC individual golf championship for four consecutive years (1951-54) while leading WIU to four straight conference crowns. (Deceased January 2011).
