Ted Eck,2001 - Ted's 1984-88 Western Illinois soccer career was highlighted by three all-conference selections, the 1987 Mid-Con Player of the Year honor, and an all-American tag in 1988. He was a member of the U.S. Senior Team and was selected to the North All-Star squad for the 1987 U.S. Olympic Soccer Festival. Ted was selected by the Dallas Burn as the third pick in the 1996 MLS Draft and became a member of the Burn's 1997 U.S. Open Cup championship team.
