LeRoy Ufkes (Deceased), 1996 - A long-time contributor and booster of the WIU athletic department. A lifelong resident of nearby Carthage, Ufkes and his wife, Joan, who graduated from Western in 1954, were loyal supporters of the Leathernecks and Westerwinds for more than 25 years.
