DAVENPORT, Iowa-Members of the Western Illinois Athletic Department attended Monday's Quad Cities River Bandits game and met with the media as part of the Coaches Caravan.
A live interview with Director of Athletics Dr. Tim Van Alstine was shown on the Modern Woodmen Park video board before the game, and several coaches conducted interviews with Quad Cities television stations and newspaper outlets.
Additionally, head football coach Mark Hendrickson, head men's basketball coach Jim Molinari, head women's basketball coach JD Gravina, head softball coach Holly Van Vlymen, head volleyball coach April Hall, head baseball coach Mike Villano and several assistant coaches participated in the Caravan.
The River Bandits defeated the Clinton LumberKings, 10-7.
