The Western Illinois Fighting Leathernecks kept busy during the final day of fall football camp on Saturday (Aug. 18). The team started off with a two hour workout in the morning.
After practice, the squad joined the Marching Leathernecks at the University Union to practice the fight song and welcome students back to campus. In the afternoon, the football Leathernecks helped students move into the residence halls and passed out schedule cards.
Western will take Sunday off and return to practice on Monday afternoon, marking 10 days until the season-opener at Hanson Field against Butler. Kickoff on August 30th is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling (309) 298-1190 or online at GoLeathernecks.com.
