ELMHURST, Ill. - Western Illinois women's soccer midfielder Miranda Graham earned her first career Summit League 'Offensive Player of the Week' nod for her role in the squad's 2-0 weekend.
Graham scored her first goal of the 2012 season, a game winner, against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Friday (August 24) in the 15th minute of the match. Just under 20 seconds after the goal, she set Chrissy Campbell up for the second of the contest. Western Illinois went on to win the match 8-0.
In the Sunday (August 26) afternoon victory over Arkansas-Little Rock 4-1, Graham notched the first goal of the match in the second minute of play when she sent a rebound into the back of the net.
The Schoolcraft, Mich. native tallied five points in total during the weekend, and has a shot-on-goal percentage of .833 and a .333 shot percentage in three matches played.
Western Illinois currently sits atop the Summit League with a record of 2-1-0, and returns to the pitch on Friday (August 31) at Jackson State in Jackson, Miss.
