MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois junior golfer Kristi Tschudin (Swansea, Ill.), has been named the Papa John's Scholar-Athlete of the Week for her accomplishments on the golf course and in the classroom.
Tschudin won the individual title at the 'WIU Autumn Invitational' that took place last Sunday and Monday (Oct. 14-15). Her two-day total of 155 (79, 76) gave her the first individual title of her Leatherneck golf career.
The junior has a 79.8 stroke-average in seven rounds of golf this fall.
Tschudin owns a 3.019 grade point average majoring in Pre-Business Conditional Marketing.
