MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois diver Doug Ogilvie was named Summit League Athlete of the Week for the fourth time in his Leatherneck career following his performance in competition against Eastern Illinois and South Dakota at Brophy Hall Pool last weekend.

The sophomore contributed first place finishes in one-meter and three-meter diving at the Friday (Jan. 18) tri-meet against Eastern Illinois and South Dakota. His one-meter score of 314.85 is a Brophy Hall Pool record and qualifies him for the NCAA Zones meet for the second year in a row.

On Saturday (Jan. 19), in a tri-meet against the same teams, Ogilvie again earned first place finishes in one-meter and three-meter diving. His three-meter score of 319.58 marks a new season personal best and brings him within a point of qualifying for NCAA Zones.

The Leathernecks return to the pool this Friday (Jan. 25) at Saint Louis. The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
