MACOMB, Ill. – Western Illinois Women’s Basketball announced the dates for the upcoming 2013 JD Gravina Basketball Camp. The camp will run from June 17-20 inside Western Hall, and is open to girls entering 4th-10th grade.
Cost of the camp is $150 per person. With a group of six or more, the cost drops to $125/camper. A 10 percent discount is applied for those who register before June 1. However, those interested in attending the camp can sign up as late as the opening day of the event.
All campers will receive a: t-shirt, awards, daily lunch and two free Gatorade products per day. Gravina, his coaching staff and select women’s basketball players will provide the instruction.
“We had a good turnout our first year running the camp, good numbers to build on. This year we are hoping for an even larger turnout. This is a great opportunity for girls entering 4th through 10th grade to receive individualized instruction from NCAA Division I coaches and student-athletes,” said Gravina. “Teaching basketball during camp is one of our biggest highlights of the summer. It’s exciting for us to see the enthusiasm of these girls to play basketball.”
