Mitch Granger Named Academic All-Summit League

ELMHURST, Ill. - Western Illinois men's tennis student-athlete Mitch Granger was named to the Academic All-Summit League Team, the conference announced Tuesday morning (April 30).

The sophomore journalism major tied for the team lead with 11 wins, including a 3-2 record during Summit League play.

He has been equally impressive in the classroom, currently earning a 3.90 cumulative grade point average.

Granger helped the team to an 8-17 finish overall, including 2-3 in conference action.
