ELMHURST, Ill. - Western Illinois women's basketball forward Ashley Luke was named the Summit League 'Player of the Week' on Monday (Dec. 9) for the second consecutive week, the conference announced.

Against the Redhawks, Luke matched her career high with 29 points, 25 of them in the first half, while also surpassing her previous career high with 15 rebounds.
At Oklahoma, Luke totaled 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting, adding six rebounds, four assists and a career-high six steals. The 17-point differential was Western's closest scoring margin versus a ranked team in nine years.

The award was the fourth of Luke's career, as she also earned it two consecutive weeks in February of last season.
