CEDAR FALLS - Megan McGlone's total of 3334 points in the pentathlon placed her third in the Western Illinois record books following day one of the Jack Jennett Invite on Friday (Jan. 31).
McGlone finished seventh in the 800, fifth in the 60-meter hurdles, eighth in the high jump, fourth in the long jump and third in shot put.
Nathaniel Marshall's mark of 65'1.5" in the weight throw was good for second on the day, but was one of his better performances of his career.
Also participating at the Jack Jennett Invite, graduate assistant coach Dan Gooris ran unattached in the heptathlon. Through four of the seven events, Gooris had his all-time best day and is leading the event after day one.
Tomorrow's action begins at 10 a.m. inside the UNI-Dome.
