MACOMB, Ill. - Breanna Moore was named the Papa John's Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Monday morning (May 6) for her academic and athletic accomplishments.
The junior Biology major and Animal Sciences minor holds an impressive 3.443 cumulative grade point average.
Over the weekend, she won the 400-meter hurdles race at the Fighting Scot Invitational, crossing the finish line in a career-best 1:05.44.
Moore has finished in the top four of the 400-meter hurdles four of the five times she has competed in the event this season.
This Thursday through Saturday (May 9-11), Moore and the Fighting Leathernecks will be competing at the Summit League Championships.
