Matt Wieclaw

Matt Wieclaw takes over as a Student Assistant Coach after an illustrious four year playing career with Western.

Wieclaw ranks 14th all-time at Western in scoring with 54 points. In 2006, he was named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Regional Team after he registered a team best 12 goals, and ranked second in points with 30. He was also honored as Mid-Con Player of the Year, First Team All Mid-Con, Mid-Con Tournament MVP, and Mid-Con All Tournament Team.

Wieclaw’s 2005 campaign saw him bring home Second Team All Mid-Con Honors after he recorded 12 points for the Leathernecks.
