MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois Football will
offer two camps during the month of June, including a trip to the Windy City.
The Fighting Leathernecks will offer a camp in the Chicago area on Saturday,
June 25th. The next day (Sunday, June 26) Western will come home to offer a
camp at Western Hall in Macomb.
Cost for the one-day camp is $50 per person. Students entering grades 9-12 for
the 2011-12 school year are eligible to attend. Campers will have the
opportunity to participate in two sessions at each camp, 10 a.m. - 12 noon,
then 2-4 p.m., and given the freedom to spend the sessions however they please.
Campers can choose to specialize in their own area of football, attending both
sessions as an offensive or defensive player, or attend both sessions.
Each camp covers all aspects of football: from a basic stance to advanced seven-on-seven simulations. Every camper will receive instruction solely from members of the Leatherneck coaching staff.
