MACOMB, Ill. - Myers Hendrickson (Macomb, Ill./Macomb) has joined teammates Bryce Flowers and wide receiver Terriun Crump on the Preseason Watch List by the College Football Performance Awards. The senior wide receiver was one of 32 players selected to the punt returner award watch list, as announced by the organization Monday.

The CFPA rolled out its Preseason Watch List by position this summer and will release the final comprehensive list on Thursday (July 21). The list can be found on www.collegefootballperformance.com.

Hendrickson took over punt return duties midway through season and averaged 9.3 yards per return (16 returns/149 yards). He finished third in the Missouri Valley Football Conference and 31st nationally in yards per return. At the end of the season, Hendrickson received the team's Green Beret Award honoring play on special teams.

Hendrickson saw action in all 13 games during the 2010 campaign and caught five passes totaling 88 yards. He set a season-high at Missouri State (Oct. 23) with 56 yards, including a 45-yard reception. He also pulled in three receptions at Southern Illinois (Nov. 13).
Flowers and Crump were both selected to their respective position's Preseason Watch List by the CFPA in late May.

Western begins its quest for a second straight year qualifying for the Division I playoffs on Thursday, September 1st, at Sam Houston State. Season tickets for the five home games at Hanson Field are currently on sale by calling (309) 298-1190 or going to www.GoLeathernecks.com.
