MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois Athletics will sponsor a reunion for Fighting Leatherneck Football during Homecoming/Hall of Fame weekend. On September 30-October 1, 'From Mudra to Rodriguez: The Reunion' will take place as part of the All-Leatherneck Reunion festivities.

Leathernecks that played from 1969-83 for head coaches Darrell Mudra, Brodie Westen, Bill Shanahan and Pete Rodriguez will meet Friday afternoon (Sept. 30) for a social at the Macomb Country Club. The annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place that night at the University Union.

Following the Homecoming parade Saturday morning, there will be a pregame tailgate from 12-3 p.m. north of Hanson Field. Pregame ceremonies are scheduled for 2:45 p.m. and the players from the 1969-83 era will be recognized during halftime.

A post-game social and dinner will follow after the game. The following is a portion of the former players who have committed to attending the reunion:
