Alan Arvin began working in the athletic equipment room in September 2007, entering his sixth year working with Leatherneck football. He meets the football team's equipment needs and assists with the 19 other Division I sports when needed.

A native of McDonough county, he received his associates degree from Southeastern Community College in 2005.

He and his wife Barbara, also an employee of Western Illinois University, reside in McDonough County.
