#70 Wisconsin Defeats Leatherneck Men's Tennis

MADISON, Wis. - The Leatherneck men's tennis team fell to #70-ranked Wisconsin inside Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Saturday evening.

The Badgers (9-2) won the contest 6-0. The teams did not play doubles as the match started late.

Western Illinois (7-12) didn't win a set, though every Leatherneck won at least a game.

Sophomore Mitch Granger and freshman Bradley Holt each dropped tight matches.

Granger fell 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 singles, while Holt lost a 6-3, 6-3 decision at No. 2 singles.

Western will face another ranked opponent tomorrow, traveling to Evanston, Ill. to take on #18 Northwestern.
