“We are going to try and situational scrimmage (during the Spring Game). It’ll be an offense versus defense type of spring event where it gives us an opportunity to really work on the things we focused on here this spring. I think it’ll be fun for the fans to look at the team the new system offensively,” said Nielson. “We certainly aren’t going to be ready to play a game yet but hopefully we’ve advanced enough to be sharp and crisp in our execution. It’s also a great opportunity to get alumni back and have them look at the future of Leatherneck Football and have a fun day of playing golf on Saturday.”
