MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois head men's basketball coach Jim Molinari announced the addition of Mike Miklusak (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) on Tuesday (May 21) to the Fighting Leathernecks' 2013 signing class. The addition of Miklusak brings the team's 2013 signing class to five student-athletes.

"Mike is the type of young man that you want to bring in to help your program get to the next level," said coach Molinari. "He has to become stronger and work on facets of the game, but he has the character to make those improvements. In the meantime, he will provide immediate help in the area of three-point shooting, which we felt was something our roster needed. We are excited about Mike."

The 6-5, 190-pound forward averaged 12 points and 5.1 rebounds per game during his senior year at Lake Central High School.

Miklusak was tabbed Northwest Indiana All-Area Second Team and All-State Honorable Mention, while being selected to the Duneland All-Conference Team.

The Dyer, Indiana native was also named MVP of the Indianapolis Play-by-Play Classic during his senior year.
