F. Strode,1991 - An IIAC All-Conference player and captain of the 1958 Leatherneck football squad, Gene has had a distinguished career as a teacher, coach, and athletic administrator at Hinsdale Central High School. In his 14 years as director of athletics, Hinsdale Central won 42 IHSA state trophies, including 15 state championships.
