JUNIOR (2011): Did not see any game action... recovered from a knee injury in the spring and was able to return to practice.

SOPHOMORE (2010): Named to the Academic Honor Roll from the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC)... played in four games: Valparaiso, Sam Houston, Indiana State and Illinois State... two tackles against Sam Houston and one versus Indiana State... shared the Scout Team Defensive Player of the Year award.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2009): Did not see any game action... named to the Academic Honor Roll of the MVFC.

FRESHMAN (2008): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in football... junior year team advanced to the second round of the playoffs... senior year team again qualified for postseason... played for coach Dave Mattio.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 15, 1990 in Chicago... No. 1 sports highlight was beating Homewood-Flossmoor in the first game of his senior season... his uncle Tom has been a major influence, "He loved football before he died of cancer."... most admires high school coaches Dave Mattio and Andy Delaurentis, "They coached, went to my high school and taught me a lot."... enjoys football, lifting, country music and dogs... favorite professional team is the Chicago White Sox... favorite musician is Kenny Chesney... son of James and Jean Corsiglia.
