Keeley Murray

Keeley Murray joins the Leatherneck women's soccer coaching staff after an impressive four-year career with the Purple & Gold. She will assist with training sessions and day-to-day operations and will lend her experience to the midfielders and forwards. While assisting the women's soccer staff she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She is currently working as a graduate assistant in the Communications Sciences Department working for the audiologist.

At Western Illinois
2009 (Senior Season):
Started in all 18 matches of the season... tallied two points on two assists for the season... recorded both assists in a 7-0 win over Grand View (9/26)... was as an all-Summit League second-team selection... finished her career ranked fourth in team history with 14 career assists and eighth with 30 career points... also ranks first in program history with 5,712 minutes played, tied for first with 75 matches played and tied for third with 72 matches started.

2008 (Junior Season): Named to the Summit League Fall Academic All-League Team... started in 17 of the 18 games in which she appeared... finished second on the team and third in The Summit League in assists with seven... recorded a goal in the 7-1 win against St. Ambrose, August 29, 2008... scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 Summit League win against North Dakota State, November 1, 2008... was second on the team in points with 11.

2007 (Sophomore Season): Started in 19 of the 20 matches that she played in... recorded five goals and three assists on 17 shots... scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime victory against Illinois State, Sept. 14., and in a 3-0 win against Southern Utah, Sept. 28... ranks 10th in career points (17) and career assists (5)...earned All-Summit League Academic honors... named to The Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2006 (Freshman Season):
Named to the Mid-Continent Conference All-Newcomer Team... Scored one goal and recorded two assists for a total of four points... named to Mid-Continent Fall Academic All-Conference Team.

High School
Earned two varsity letters at Bettendorf High School... Selected honorable mention all-conference in 2004... Earned an academic letter and was a high honor roll member.

Daughter of Katherine and Brian Murray... born Sept. 14, 1987... majoring in communication sciences.
