Leading the invite thus far is Northern Iowa with a score of 307, and UNI's Brittany Atterbury carded a day one score of 72.
After the opening round of the Creighton Classic, sophomore Kristi Tschudin and freshman Jessica Knepp lead Western with scores of 84 and 85, placing them tied for 19th and tied for 26th, respectively.
Senior Samantha Hainline (88), junior Alexa Arent (91), and freshman Ashley Jeffers (92) sit tied for 42nd, tied for 57th, and tied for 59th, respectively heading into day two.
Competing as an individual was Leatherneck golfer Nikki Tatham who sits tied for 30th with a round one score of 86.
Western will conclude action in the Creighton Classic tomorrow.
