PRIMM, Nev. - The Fighting Leatherneck women's golf team sits tied for fifth-place with a two-round score of 624 (300, 324) after the first day of the 2012 Summit League Championships that are taking place on the Lake Course of the Primm Valley Golf Club in Primm, Nev.
Leading the way heading into the final round are the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles who own a score of 611 (297, 314), while North Dakota State's Amy Anderson sits first individually with a score of 142 (72, 70).
Western is led by freshman Ashley Jeffers and sophomore Kristi Tschudin who sit fifth and sixth, respectively, after Jeffers finished with a two-round score of 149 (70, 79), and Tschudin posted a score of 150 (71, 79).
Rounding out the rest of Western's team was senior Samantha Hainline who sits tied for 17th with a score of 157 (75, 82), freshman Jessica Knepp who sits 46th with a score of 169 (85, 84), and junior Alexa Arent who sits 47th with a score of 170 (84, 86).
