Men’s Soccer Announces Locker Room Sponsorship Opportunities

WIU men’s soccer is renovating its locker room and is calling on all supporters of the program to help with the project.

Greetings from Macomb! Many of you joined us last fall as we celebrated 50 years of men's soccer at Western Illinois University. Our program has a rich and storied history, and to stay competitive in the Summit League, we must continue to upgrade our facilities. Recent improvements include a new storage shed on the practice field, bleachers on the practice field, new game goals for the northwest practice field, portable goals for the practice field, bench shelters and concrete pads on the game field, and annual purchases of chemical treatments for all the soccer fields. All of these improvements were made possible by our alumni and friends, and have enhanced the experience of our student-athletes. Now we need your help once again.

We have started to renovate our locker room, and have already installed new carpet and new lights. We need to upgrade the lockers and finish this project. Below is a photo of the new lockers. The cost of each locker is $750, and we would like to purchase 32. Please consider "sponsoring" a locker for $750 to have your name permanently placed on that locker. You can even choose the locker number. Only 32 sponsorships are available, and a few have already been spoken for, so complete the form below and return it to WIU Athletics. All gifts, no matter the amount, are appreciated and will allow us to finish this very important renovation.
